But on…let's see, was it Wednesday? Maybe Tuesday…something happened. Remember Evil Peekaboo Girl? Well, she walked into the lunch room with a stuffed animal shaped like a frog. I asked her where she got the frog, and she told me the name of the math teacher she had got it from. I didn't know if she had stole it, if it was a prize, if she was borrowing it, or whatever, so I asked her why exactly she had it. She never answered. Today, my brother told me the story as to why the math teacher had the frog; A random student had given it to her. Then my school's principal had stolen the frog from her, and she stole it back, etc. So, I guess maybe Evil Peekaboo Girl was working for either the math teacher or the principal, steeling it back. But who knows? I never will...

Things on the "Bleh" Side of Life
So, I guess I should start by apologizing. I haven't blogged in almost a week! Oops…hehe? But I guess not much has happened. Well, actually, there's been a lot of talk about book characters between Jujubee and TripleThreat, but since I haven't read a book in a while (hehe, oops again) I'm not really part of those conversations. Today I had a really sore throat I probably should've gone home, but because I HATE making up schoolwork, I decided to suffer (no, I'm not over dramatizing this. Ok, maybe a little…) through school. So in addition to me not understanding the conversations, I was initially out of it. Today just wasn't a good day for me. Or week, I guess.

Hiya, no lunch today~
Well, even though it's Monday, we didn't have a special group lunch in a classroom that makes everyone think we're insane. Nope, luckily, we have Monday off. (today, I guess) Posting stuff about lunch isn't working very well for me because I honestly don't remember anything. :( I know, bad me. My brain is very bad at remembering things and it's a miracle that I've survived school to this extent. Um...I was just going to offer a few personal opinions on TrumpetGal's and Triple-Threat's posts, but I completely forgot what there were about. *smiles nervously and offers you virtual cookie*
Um...um....I'm going to have to think this while I write...uh...TrumpetGal's was something about LittleMissSarcasm? I think that's what it was about...Well, just so you know, I won't be the one telling :x
And Triple-Threat's was something about winning the swing dancing competition...and scripts. (haha, I read that story when it was in short story format :P) Oh yeah! I remember what I was going to say! Have fun writing blood 'n gore~ You'll find that it's difficult to write it believably....
Ok, that's what I wanted to say~
Ciao,
Jujubee

Swing and Other Things...
Hey guys! I haven't really made many posts, have I? Well that's about to change. Okay, I was the only one who managed to win in the Swing competition out of my dear lunch buddies. It was really fun! I used the "Pick-A-Random-Partner" method. He was a good dancer, and close to my height. Friends were cheering me on...okay enough about my victory...
Currently, I am writing a script for a movie. If you have read the Hunger Games and Maximum Ride, it is kind of a combo of both. Original characters and everything...and a bloody plotline. There is a little love interest in it, but not much. Just thought I'd let you all know...
I will write another post when something else dramatic happens.
Byeez,
TripleThreat

Double Backup All The Way
Hey, everyone! So I know it's already Saturday, and I haven't posted, and I should have posted, and I can't keep up a blog if I don't post, and STOP PUTTING PRESSURE ON ME! GOSH!
A lot has happened in…a week? I don't know how long it's been since I posted. But I'll sum it up for you: Monday, I don't remember. Tuesday, I don't remember. Wednesday, the teacher whose room we usually eat lunch in was gone, so we went to our backup teacher's room. She was leaving, too. So, we spontaneously came up with a backup for out backup, and went to this 3rd teacher's room. We started eating lunch, and TripleThreat freaked everyone out by turning one book on a bookshelf of right side up books upside down. This may seem petty, but a lot of the people in that room were seriously bugged by it and yelled at TripleThreat to put it back (including the teacher, haha). Also, the teacher's son came in the room and his friends were all hyped up on something. Possibly sugar, because they were talking about bets they had placed (not in money, but in forms of asking random people out) on a donut eating contest. The problem was that one of the guys lost the bet and has to ask someone out. Now, this particualar guy actually has a girlfriend, only he hasn't even hugged her yet. So, his friends decided it was legit if he asked someone else out. Now the details on this part are a little sketchy, but somehow another guy in the sugar-hyped-up group has to ask the same girl out. I'm not sure that any of that news was remotely significant, but it's what happened at lunch.
Thursday, I don't remember. Friday, Pretty much everyone giving me food because I competed in a swing dancing competition (even though I didn't have to) instead of laughing at them. TripleThreat, the performer, was the only one who managed to win.
And today, I'm sick, so don't be expecting that many blog posts from me if I'm still sick on Tuesday (it's a 3-day weekend). Also, remember the friend I mentioned in my Muffins/Cupcakes blog who's a really good artist? I have a name for her now! LittleMissSarcasm. Look out for her in the future, because she is very sarcastic (no duh). She's actually taller than me, but she can't do a thing about it if I call her LittleMissSarcasm. So, I will. Sorry, LittleMissSarcasm! Just couldn't resist...

I Am NOT Insane...I Just Have Issues.
I just read Jujubee's post about what happened to me at lunch yesterday. It made me sound like I didn't quite have a grip on reality. Well, let me tell you reality, Jujubee! Some random person (you don't know if it's a trombone player or not) is sneaking up on you and covering your eyes so you lose sight. And they're in your personal bubble, and all your friends are laughing at you because you flinched when this person snuck up on you. That's reality. Then smacking the hands away to find somebody 3/4 your height with multicolored hair laughing at her "funny little trick." THAT'S reality. And even then, when you're about to get over this scarring moment, the girl DOES IT AGAIN. Did I mention she says "Peek-a-Boo!", too? Just to taunt you more?! Then, to get revenge on this EVIL girl, you get back at her and everyone laughs at your attempt. THAT'S REALITY!
Please take this into consideration.

Peek-a-freakin'-boo
Lunch was hectic today, even more so than yesterday. So yes, I'll admit that all of us got lazy yesterday and forgot to post. Oopsies...A quick summery of yesterday goes something like this...
1) Triple-Threat dragged me around the floor while I curled up in a ball because I didn't want to swing dance
2) We hopped around the classroom on one foot and tried to push each other over
:D Aren't we so weird?
Ok, so onto today! *calculating face* We have a friend...let's call her Smarties, because she's smart and acts like she always hyped up on sugar. (or something a little stronger ;D) She decided that it'd be fun to torment TrumpetGal and proceeded to cover her eyes (and the rest of her face) while shouting "Peek-a-boo!" Well, let's just say it scared the hell out of TrumpetGal and pissed her off. Smarties decided it was a great idea to continue attacking TrumpetGal. A few minutes later, TrumpetGal had an opening. She covered Smarties' face, looking like she was smothering Smarties, and spat the words. "Peek-a-freakin'-boo." Because my nerdy face wasn't stuffed in a book, I heard TrumpetGal and dissolved into laughter with just about everyone else who was listening.
TrumpetGal wasn't laughing...I think she was still angry :(
What else did we talk about today..? Well, I spent a good amount of time whining about the square dancing square (circle!) I got stuck with. I hated everyone in the circle but two people. They pissed me off, and I'm pretty sure because of their fooling around, my gym grade lowered...
Before I have a huge rant (meltdown) about gym, I'll sign off!
Bye~

The First Post Warned You For This...Just Saying
Oh, Wednesday. Late Start always makes the day amazing. Then, of course, all classes are shorter than usual. Lunch, unfortunately, is a little shorter (I think), but The Lunch Club managed to bring up a whole lot more subjects than usual. These things included: Stealing food to bargain for Swedish Fish, Swing Dancing, The Sound of Music, Tom Sawyer, Being Short, Jenga, Creative Writing, and English Classes.
The whole stealing food for Swedish Fish bargaining was just something I decided to do, seeing as I was in a desperate situation of having no Swedish Fish. We talked about swing dancing for a while because it's what we all did for PE today. There's also a school swing dancing competition coming up, so some of us decided to see if we would be able to compete without needing a male partner. And it was NOT awkward, even if SOME people thought it was. I was complementing the theatrical skills of the teacher's room we were eating in (Seriously, that Oregon Duck-loving English teacher is really good at singing and acting), and she said that I should come see her in the Sound of Music. She said this because I had enjoyed it when I went to see her in Tom Sawyer. Anyways, this somehow lead to CERTAIN PEOPLE starting to sing songs from the Sound of Music, which lead to people quickly leaving the room. English classes were talked about because I'm pretty sure everyone but Jujubee has an English class that is absolutely no fun at all. Being short...well, one of my really short friends is getting almost as tall as Triple-Threat (Yeah, she's pretty short. No offense! It's just kinda sorta the way it is), and Triple-Threat was getting...distressed. Finally, Jenga. One of my friends had to go to therapy, and apparently all she had to do there was play Jenga. At least, that's what she told me...kinda random, right? =P
But yeah, my friends and I remain random. And man, no offense to Jujubee, but she really has to stop zoning out and not caring during lunch!...Just kidding. Sort of.

Swing Dancing
So, it might just be me, but I have a reaaaally hard time remembering what we talk about during lunch. Maybe it's just so mundane that my brain throws it away. But, after a few minutes of thinking, I can only remember three things.
1. A lot of people sing
2. My friends swing dance for fun
3. I have the coolest English class ever
Yeah, I suppose a lot of teens randomly break out in song but...my friends started singing stuff from "The Sound of Music" and then, the awesome teacher who hosts our lunch joined in. (run on sentence D:) It was...awkward. And then Triple-Threat and TrupetGal started swing dancing...it was really awkward.
Well, this was a stupid post!

Ha! Take That, Auburn!
As many of you may know, last night was the National College Football Tournament. And the Oregon Ducks lost. Over on the west coast, most people were rooting for Oregon, so it was kind of a downer when the game ended. I mean, the Ducks even caught up and tied Auburn, and then they lost it. They were so close! But, as usual, my friends and I like to think about things in different ways. We have this inside joke going, about Newton's 3rd Law of Motion. So basically the law explains action-reaction. Example: Head bumps ball. Ball bumps head. But that's boring, so in science class I took it to the next level. Example: Triple-Threat eats sandwich. Sandwich eats Triple-Threat. Also, Jujubee reads book. Book reads Jujubee. Pretty self-explanitory, if I do say so myself. I mean, if they only teach us so much these days, we have to use prior knowledge to come to the next logical step, right?
So, if all this can be true, then the real results of last night's game must be true. If you haven't already figured it out, here is the true result of last night's game: Auburn beat Oregon. OREGON BEAT AUBURN! My friends and I eat lunch in the same teacher's room ever day. That teacher just happens to be something like the Oregon Duck's biggest fan. We were going to tell her our theory of how it was all a lie and Oregon really won, but I think she was still in mourning. So, truthfully, I was too scared to approach her in that state. But hey, the theory still exists! And I believe it's more then a theory. It's not like I twist reality or anything! I see things like they are! Auburn, you wish you had fans that twisted reality. You wish...

Muffins vs. Cupcakes
So, I being the nerd I am, was reading durning lunch today. I heard a little about what TrumpetGal and currently unnamed friend were talking about and I saw the drawings. Well, TrumpetGal is either deaf, or chose to overlook my comment. I hate how people are hating on muffins. I LOVE muffins...and I'm not the biggest fan of cupcakes (unless it's red velvet :D) So I said that cupcakes are just gay muffins. Now don't get me wrong, I have nothing against different sexualities. I'm not a homophone (contrary to popular belief) Ok, weird...
Um...I threw a tantrum during lunch today. The book I was reading started really slowly and the main character was so...unlikeable, that I wanted to stop reading. She basically forced me to read the damn book and now I'm depressed. It was such a cliff hanger!!! I can't wait until next year to read the next book *cries*
Okie dokie, that's my lame little post for the day~

Muffins Are Just Ugly Cupcakes? I Think Not!
Today was a Monday, so conversation was a bit slow. We're doing square dancing in PE, so we talked a little about that (not especially exciting), and then we started randomly drawing. It started with my friend (Who we haven't yet given a name to) showing everyone her amazing drawing/interpretation of some religios symbol. This friend is a really good artist, so of course I had to retort with my "amazing" art skills. I drew a head. A lame head. In fact, you could hardly tell it was a head. That's my drawing skills for you.
Then I decided to try something else, because I'm just not good at drawing people. I tried to draw a mushroom cloud, like from an explosion, and showed it to her. She thought it was a muffin. I decided I could work with that, and added a face (because what good is a muffin if it isn't a happy muffin?) and some color. She responded to that by doodling a cupcake right next to it. Some other people started commenting about how "Muffins are just ugly cupcakes" and "Muffins taste like crap."
I don't know what hole these people live in, but they're just...wrong! Seriously wrong! There is absolutely NOTHING bad about muffins. End of story. No debate, it's just fact. Now, if you compare muffins to cupcakes, you realize that all cupcakes are muffins. Muffins are the base for cupcakes and, depending on the cupcake, they were better without all the icing and pizzaz. If you take away the icing and pizzaz from a cupcake, it's still a muffin! I delicious and fabulous muffin! But if you took away the muffin from a cupcake, all you have is icing and pizzaz. Overly-sweet, almost pathetic icing and pizzaz. Now, this is the point that you realize that muffins are superior. Muffins have always been superior, and they always will be.
I hope all you muffin haters out there have learned your lesson.

Hola from Triple-Threat
Hey guys!
I didn't know if my "about" page was working, so I'll sum it up for you.
I. Do. Theatre.
Okay, that's pretty much all you need to know about me.
I also wanted to point out that I will make all of the super dramatic posts. About our school lives. Believe me, I know how to exaggerate. :)
Just wanted to say something!

*Insert Witty Title of Your Choice*
So, I thought I should force myself to post something here because TrumpetGal has already, but I forgot what happened during lunch yesterday. I don't think I was an active participant in the concert band vs. jazz band argument, so I don't really care about it. Hell, I don't even think I heard it when they were arguing.
I've been busy-ish for the last hour or so, trying to through this blog together, and as you can tell, I'm not very tech savvy. Actually, I'm technologically retarded. I know, I know. It's shameful for a teenager in this generation to be confused by technology.
But here I am! Living, breathing proof that not all teenagers can manipulate electricity and metal! Doesn't that make you feel so much better?
Ok, so this wasn't even close to being about lunch, but whatever. I ramble a lot while blogging, and it's going to be something you'll have to get used to. My mind just wanders off, and I jump with whatever topic I think up.

When Has Lunch Ever Been About Food?
Oh hey, random person potentially reading this! How's it going? Seeing as the title of the blog is "The Lunch Club", I thought my first post would actually be about lunch. And how, in the world of teenagers, it's no longer about food. Of course, I don't speak for everyone. There are plenty of people who take lunch break as a time to enjoy food. The majority of teens, however, take lunch break as an opportunity to socialize. That's my friends and I. And that's what this blog will be about: Topics talked about or things that happened during lunch. I'm talking "drama", stupidness, late homework, swing dancing, music, locker slamming...yeah, The Lunch Club does a lot of random stuff. So if this sounds at all interesting, by all means, follow this blog! If not...let's just not go there.
So last Thurday, my friend-let's call her TripleThreat-who's in the concert band, and I were talking. I was talking about jazz band, which I'm in, and she expressed beliefs that concert band was superior to jazz band. Sigh. I get a lot of complaints that I ditched concert band to join jazz band, but jazz band is amazing. Just saying. Now I'm not saying it's superior to concert band, but concert band is certainly not superior to it. I'm just trying to get the point across that JAZZ BAND IS AMAZING. Teehee. Oh, and if you're wondering, not everyone in The Lunch Club is a band geek; It's mostly just me. We all have our own points of view. :)
